Bethlehem is a singer/ songwriter/ a Capella and percussion artist who has been described as “Germantown’s next rising star” by WHYY/NewsWorks Philadelphia.
Her first solo release, “Bigger Than Music”, was released in November of 2012.
She has performed with the Philadelphia Jazz Project, at TEDxPhiladelphia in 2014, and as part of Diva Nation, during which she was described by jazz luminary Homer Jackson as “bringing raw, unapologetic, gospel energy, fueled by Hebrew language and Torah studies.”
Songwriter and Instruments
Sad Patrick is a singer / songwriter/muti-instrumentalist and attendee of the Calliope School of Folk Music in Pittsburgh. (He was kicked out for learning “jazz” chords.)
He writes songs of universal and personal struggles, battles and bliss, coal mines and outer space travel, zombies and love – good love, bad love, love lost, and love that oughta get lost.
Sad Patrick’s songs have been recorded and performed by a variety of local artists, most notably Bethlehem, who he formed the duo Bethlehem and Sad Patrick with in 2012 after the two met at an open mic night in Germantown.
